First DOTA 2 School in Philippines Located in Cebu

On April 2017, the neighboring Southeast Asian country of Philippines, Malaysia, offered a Course for DOTA 2, LOL, CS:GO and FIFA 17. Due to the advancement of esports in the Southeast Asian countries, the succeeding month May 2017, a university in Philippines located in Cebu set to open up school for DOTA 2, and this is the University of the Visayas New School of Art and Design (UVNS) which can be found in Gov. M. Cuenco Ave, Mandaue City, Cebu. A good news especially to DOTA 2 and esports fans. The DOTA 2 course will be offered to senior high track for arts and design, which is game design. The students can either focus on e-sports or game development.

The University of the Visayas New School (UVNS) truely supports esports as they are the first school/university in the Philippines to offer DOTA 2 course.

Mod Skin LoL and Third Party Apps Users Will Be Punished by Garena

Mod Skin LoL is the most popular League of Legends skin modification software hack prohibited by Garena but still used by many players in League of Legends Philippines. This software was distributed by several sites such as leagueskin.net, modskinlolph.com and other like or mirror sites. Leagueskin.net download page shows old review of Riot to Mod Skin on 2014 from LoL EUW forums by LordYeven stating that,

In our case, we've made a decision that custom skins/splashes aren't necessarily hurting the business. Our business is in making our players happy - the ability to custom stuff is likely what keeps certain people interested in our game, and acts as a force multiplier for other people. From that perspective, banning people is incredibly stupid. We're forcing people out of our game, and lessening the experience of other players, for no real clear benefit.
That said, it's important that we reserve our rights to defend the IP here. There may be certain custom skins (Nazi Teemo!) that we may have a legitimate problem with. And there are other modifications (Zoom hack!) that are a certifiable balance issue and need to be prevented. Custom creation will always be at your own risk - updates may break functionality, etc. But we also aren't going to just toss out arbitrary bans. It's not in our players' interests, and so it's definitely not in ours.

This statement original source is from LoL North America forums and its dated way back 2012, posted by Lomar, an associate producer in LoL NA forums.

But this is not the status now, this 2017 Riot released a statement on their Stance on CUSTOM CHAMPION MODELS AND ARTWORK,

For now, custom models and artwork sit firmly in the “use-at-your-own-risk” category, but we’re keeping an eye on them. We can’t optimize for assets we don’t develop, and if they do become a concern for any reason in the future (ie. they provide measurable player advantage), we’ll take action based on the stance we just laid out.
Gray areas aside, there are definitely applications which are just not okay, and while the number of players in this space are very low (think a fraction of a percentage), we remain vigilant and hand out punishments to those who show patterns of consistent abuse.
We reserve the right to take action against applications that allow the use of our assets for free (often referred to as skin hacks).

Before explaining further the punishment for these hacks, Let us know first what are these hacks, the mod skin and other third party applications.

Mod Skin LoL

It is a software that used to change default skin of LoL to premium skins from Riot or modified skins created by others. It's a free software, and what's the catch? Maybe it was a inserted with malware, we don't know the motives of the creator of the Mod Skin.

Jungler Timer Tool is a hack tool which benefits junglers. Jungle Timer lets you know exactly when a camp or neutral monsters/units are going to respawn . Range Display Hack (predicting enemy positions)

Range Display hack displays the range of different game mechanics: your auto attack range, tower range, enemy vision range, enemy attack range, spell range, smite range, ignite range and even experience range. This tool will allow you to turn different overlays on and off. Generally, it displays range by simply drawing a cycle around a champion or tower.

Camera and Zoom Hack

How To Create .EHI File For Globe, TM, Smart, TNT and Sun

EHI is the config file used by HTTP Injector for android which is required for the app to work. There's a list of free EHI files distributed by others which are ready to import. But some of these EHI files has expiration and the speed may be slow due to many users connected. So the advantage of creating your OWN .EHI files will guarantee you a fast speed connection and the exact date of the expiration, if your ssh account has an expiration.

Download PRX Reloaded-14 VIP Servers 6.7.17.zip - for the password Message Us

3. From Rule4 to Rule10, you can change the server/proxy.
4. Example. Tap Rule4 and go to Proxy/Proxy Group and select from 12 servers what do you want and tap save.

Many players in League of Legends Philippines had created some lingos or terms to describe traits or gameplay of players who thinks they are performing well but they are not, and these terms were insipired by real professional LoL players then they changed them in colloquial term to identify these underperforming players, and that's for fun only. BronzeJukesPH, a popular LoL fan-based Facebook page in the Philippines, created a list of "Iba't Ibang Uri Ng Mga Pro Players Sa Pinas" (translated: "Different Types of Pro Players in the Philippines").

Here are the Different Types of Pro LoL Players in Philippines *For Fun Only*

1. ArKaBATA - based from 'ArKaDaTa', a professional LoL player from League of Legends Europe West (EUW) server. He's known for using Yasuo as his main champion and he releases his videos on YouTube usually with term "THE UNFORGIVEN" appended on videos names.

ArKaBATA in LoL PH refers to players that are well known for locking-in Yasuo. When they were suffering, they will point out the jungler all the blame. They will chat "Watch and Learn" on Champ Select. They tend to move quickly by pressing "E" (third skill of Yasuo - Sweeping Blade) on CS (creeps or minions) until they reach the tower of enemy. When they spent waves, they will release their badge. When they suffer, they will say its preconceived or planned.

2. It's an inappropriate word, just read it on the image - based from 'Faker', Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, known as the 'god of LoL'. He plays as a mid laner of SKT T1 (SK Telecom T1), a professional South Korean LoL team. He has an ID named Hide on bush in League of Legends South Korea. They won 2 consecutive 1st place on World Championship, 2015 and 2016. Popularized Riven, Zilean and Xerath being played in the mid lane. He is also well known for using LeBlanc, Ryze and Zed.

Fakers in LoL PH refers to players that doesn't hesitate to autolock Zed even if there's 3 tank on their enemy team and their team doesn't have AP (Ability Power Champion). They are also the ones who immediately tilt (when you're angry or frustrated to the degree that it's badly affecting your performance, and you're probably blaming it on everyone but yourself) and rage when they can't burst in the clash.

3. xPepe - based from 'xPeke', he's a professional LoL Player from League of Legends Europe West (EUW) and currently playing as mid laner of Origen, a Spanish League of Legends team, founded by him, Enrique "xPeke" Cedeño Martínez. Because of his Kassadin backdoor at IEM Katowice many players yell "xPeke!" if a nexus is backdoored.

xPepe in LoL PH refers to players when Nexus only left in the enemy team, they will wait for the enemy team to respawn, and they will chat "xpeke". The Ending of the game was then reversed by the enemy team (the enemy team won or in short 'backdoored').

4. Bobo Kush - based from 'Bubba Kush', a casual player on League of Legends Oceanic (OCE) server, usually playing unranked (Normal games) and is known for doing Lee Sin montages.

Bobo Kush in LoL PH refers to players that plays Lee Sin and they seldomly hit enemy with their Q (first skill of Lee Sin - Sonic Wave, toggles to Resonating Strike). Their ward hop is delayed because : Wards > Idle > W (2nd skill of Lee Sin -Safeguard, toggles to Iron Will). They tend to create a play, a type of kicking enemy to the ally team even if its a tank. Just to say that he had done a "Highlight".

5. Sadlife - based from 'MadLife', Hong "MadLife" Min-gi, a professional South Korean LoL player with a Support position in Gold Coin United, an American LoL team. MadLife Is well known for being one of the top skill shot based support players in the world. His excellence on Blitzcrank and Thresh is put down to brilliant micromanagement skills.

Sadlife in LoL PH refers to a situation that it's a sadlife because he's your teammate (usually plays Tresh). He always reveals his badge in lane but his hook always missed, if he successfully hooks, he immediately dash to the enemy, he will leave a lantern so that he will die with a companion.

5. Tobobito - based from 'Tobito / Tobias Fate', a LoL player from League of Legends North America. He is well known for using Gangplank and doing the INSANE Barrel Combo.

Tobobito in LoL PH refers to players (plays Gangplank) that are kind to enemies, they gave a lot of 10 Gold to enemies because they can't shot the barrels. Their ultimate is just waiting for last hit. And he will never join the team until he can't upgrade his ultimate to the second upgrade.

6. Cowshet - based from 'Cowsep', Joseph "Cowsep" Hursey, is a high elo player from League of Legends North America. And then, when they're on disadvantage on their lane, they will ask for a camp (help) with the jungler even there's a prior DR (Dragon) and the bottom lane is also on disadvantage. Just for them to recover.
